Tips for working low-waste at home
In times of Covid-19, telecommuting has become the new norm. People are being asked to work from home as much as possible, but how do you do it low-waste? Low-waste is a concept that makes you as aware of waste as possible and encourages you to waste less. Use these tips for your first steps toward a low-waste lifestyle while working from home!
Tip 1: Move your desk
Make use of the sun as a light source as much as possible. Move your desk to your windows so that the sun can illuminate your workspace during the day. This will make you less likely to have to turn on your lights. Switch to LED bulbs if you should still have to turn on your lights.
Tip 2: Reduce your paper use
You can reduce your paper use in several ways.
At first, try to print only when really necessary.
Another way is to use an online calendar and online notes. There are all kinds of apps for that, think Evernote or Google Calendar.
Tip 3: get rid of disposable plastic
