Secret Santa action: the ideal Christmas gift that supports charity
BRAUZZ. is not only bringing sustainability under the Christmas tree with its Secret Santa campaign. It is also fighting to support up to 1,000 families with Laundry sheets by December 25. In this way, they bring attention to hygiene poverty in Flanders and the Netherlands.
From December 9 through December 25, BRAUZZ. is selling special Secret Santa bundles: donating a box of Laundry sheets - good for 32 sustainable washes - to charity, The Food Banks. Together with the community, they aim to donate at least 1,000 boxes by Christmas, good for 32,000 sustainable washes.

Fighting together against hygiene poverty
According to the WHO, one in four families struggle with a lack of hygiene and personal care products such as detergent, toothpaste, toilet paper ... Food banks, which focus on poverty alleviation as well as hygiene poverty, are making a big difference here.
According to Marcha, a volunteer at the Food Banks, donations such as laundry detergent are essential: "Laundry detergent is hugely expensive and often difficult to stock up on. The Laundry sheets are a new way of washing for many people, but we will be happy to explain to them how they work."
Lotte from team BRAUZZ. interacted with the team of volunteers during an afternoon of food distribution:
"What struck me right away is the positive energy there. All the volunteers and passersby are so warm-hearted and there is a very friendly atmosphere."
"If one thing has stuck with me, it's that anyone can come here. Not only the suckers of society, as many think. Poverty doesn't choose you, it happens to you." Lotte from team BRAUZZ.
Together one common goal: 1,000 boxes of Laundry sheets
We hope to support up to 1,000 families with this action . This means a donation of 1,000 boxes of Laundry sheets - good for a total of 32,000 sustainable washes. These eco-friendly Laundry sheets are compact, easy to use and now also perfect for introducing people to a sustainable alternative.
"After all, our mission is to make sustainability accessible to everyone. With this donation, we are just reaching the families that are not as likely to encounter eco-products because sustainability is simply not yet a priority." said Lowie, CEO of BRAUZZ.
For this action BRAUZZ. cooperates with the vzw Gent Samen Solidair which can count on a load of Laundry sheets. This non-profit organization reaches over 6 volunteer organizations up to 5008 individuals a year in the region of Ghent alone.
In addition, De Voedselbanken Rotterdam, Netherlands, may also count on support from BRAUZZ. This operation consists 100% of volunteers and reaches up to 2,000 households in Rotterdam. 'But you have to know that a lot of households are added every week, so our work is really needed,' says Marcha, a volunteer at the Voedselbanken Rotterdam.
A call to all: choose an impactful gift under the Christmas tree
BRAUZZ. invites everyone to participate in this Secret Santa action and help families in need together. With every purchase of a Secret Santa bundle, consumers not only provide a sustainable Christmas gift, but also contribute to a cleaner and more just world.
