People, Planet & Profit: how BRAUZZ. engages in corporate social responsibility
BRAUZZ. was started with an ambitious mission; to make the world literally and figuratively cleaner. We want to do this by developing innovative products that enable sustainable consumption without sacrificing quality, convenience and affordability for the customer.
However, we, team BRAUZZ. believe that we have to dare to look beyond our product range if we want to be an effective corporate citizen.
That is why we work through the 3P model which stands for Planet, People, Profit.
Planet: By working with ultra concentrates, we manage to save a lot of CO2 emissions. Our washing sheets and refills are many times smaller, transport no useless water and are completely free of plastic. Because our products are packed as efficiently as possible, they fit through the mailbox. So 80% of our packages fit into the letter carrier's bag instead of a courier van.
In addition, all our products are easily biodegradable and dermatologically and vegan certified. Products better for people and planet, in other words.
People: One of our key partners is AMAB; a social customization company. AMAB employs people with physical and/or mental disabilities. They end up in an employment circuit that takes their needs into account, inspiring personal growth. Each BRAUZZ. package is assembled and sent there. Each order at BRAUZZ. thus has a nice social impact.
Profit: Even though BRAUZZ. products have clear advantages over conventional household products, they still have an impact. We worked with EcoCart to calculate the impact per product from production to transportation and storage. Based on each product sold, we donate a specific amount to invest in green energy production. The project we donate part of our profits to is European biogas plants. Biogas plants can convert greenhouse gases into renewable energy.
